FINE SILVER PMC
CLASPS
TC05
Ages 16 & up
Beadworkers and other jewelry artists, this is a great
opportunity for you to create the one-of-a-kind silver clasps
your handcrafted work deserves. Precious Metal Clay (PMC)
is an amazing form of fine silver that is malleable and
worked like clay but fires to pure silver with a kiln or
torch. Make at least two fine silver pieces, such as a hook-and-loop
clasp, a toggle clasp, or a decorative connector suitable
for a necklace or bracelet. Learn how to set cubic zirconia
and small glass cabochons and to incorporate silver wire
into your PMC creations. All tools and materials will be
provided. A $55 materials fee is payable to the instructor
at the first class.
