May is Youth Art Month at Sweetwater Center for the Arts

SEWICKLEY, Pa.-  Youth Art Month kicks off on May 2, 2011 with "Life As An Artist."  Quaker Valley 8th grade students experience what life as a professional artist is like by planning this show of their work. Exhibit runs May 2-5, 2011. Sweetwater will hold a reception on Thursday, May 5, 2011, 6:00-8:00 p.m.

 

May 13 - 20, 2011 Sweetwater will present the Sewickley Community Juried Student Art Show. This fifth annual exhibition is a chance for the community to enjoy the impressive talent of students from local schools.  Sweetwater will host a reception on Friday, May 20, 2011, 4:00-6:00 p.m. with awards given at 5:00 p.m. Youth Art Month is a free event.
