Art Education Intern:
Sweetwater Center for the Arts seeks enthusiastic, responsible and focused college students to assist with our summer art camps and administrative operations.

Sweetwater provides interns with an exciting and rewarding atmosphere, where they will gain valuable experience working in a nonprofit environment. This is an excellent opportunity for interns to establish references and build their resumes.

Duties include assisting instructors with children’s summer camps and assisting staff in numerous areas. Special projects will be given based on intern’s strengths, as well as the needs of Sweetwater.

Qualifications include a GPA of 3.0 or higher, applicants must enjoy working with children, possess basic computer skills, be eager to learn, and have a strong work ethic.
 
This internship is unpaid, but offers great experience in the areas of arts and education. Interns also receive one free class of their own choosing at Sweetwater (private art and music lesson excluded). Schedule is very flexible; however summer interns should be available during the day.
