Go Black & Gold Workshop at Sweetwater Center for the Arts

 

SEWICKLEY, Pa.- Art and Sports Collide in this workshop for kids ages  6 - 10. Come to Sweetwater and celebrate your Pittsburgh sports teams on Friday, February 4, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. This workshop includes several art projects like a Steelers puppet and a Penguins pennant. This is the perfect way to gear up for Super Bowl weekend! Materials fee is included in the tuition. This workshop is $15 for Sweetwater members and $25 for  non-members.

For the past 35 years, Sweetwater has worked towards enriching the lives of children and adults in the communities it serves by providing excellence in arts education and cultural programming. In keeping with its mission, Sweetwater strives to evolve by adding new and exciting classes and programs each session. The Center offers artist-instructors with outstanding qualifications, classes for beginners and experienced students, intimate class settings, performances, exhibitions, lectures demonstrations and cultural programming. Today, Sweetwater serves more than 11,000 individuals each year.
