Now Hiring: Part-Time Graphic Designer

Sweetwater Center for the Arts is now hiring a part-time Graphic Designer.   As Sweetwater’s Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for the creation and production of professional marketing collateral materials.  This includes, but is not limited to promotional publications, brochures, direct mail, signage and all other print and digital media (all copy will be provided).  This position also includes some administrative responsibilities.  Applicant must be detail-oriented, responsible, organized, and must possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to multi-task.  Hours range from 15-20 hrs/week.  Shifts will primarily include daytime hours; however, candidate will be required to work Thursday evenings.


·        Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or other related field

·        In-depth knowledge of Adobe Design Software, specifically:   Illustrator, InDesign

·        Knowledge of MS Office, specifically Publisher

·        Familiarity with email marketing

·        Must have own lap top with Adobe Design Software (CS 5 or later version)

Culinary Instructors (applications accepted on a rolling basis)

Sweetwater seeks culinary instructors to teach adult and children's cooking classes during the weekdays and evenings and some Saturdays.  Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in culinary arts or an associate's degree in culinary arts or related field.  Previous teaching experience is preferred but not required.  Applicants applying to teach childrens classes must have Act 151, 34 & 114 Clearances.  Please send a cover letter, resume including two professional references & class proposals.
