Culinary Instructors (applications accepted on a rolling basis)

Sweetwater seeks culinary instructors to teach adult and children's cooking classes during the weekdays and evenings and some Saturdays.  Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in culinary arts or an associate's degree in culinary arts or related field.  Previous teaching experience is preferred but not required.  Applicants applying to teach childrens classes must have Act 151, 34 & 114 Clearances.  Please send a cover letter, resume including two professional references & class proposals.

Children and Adult Classes (applications accepted on a rolling basis)
If you are interested in teaching classes at Sweetwater, please send us the following:

  • Cover Letter
  • Resume
  • 4-5 Examples of Work (may be sent in any format - photographs, digital images, slides, via webpage, etc.)
  • Class Proposal (what class(es) you would like to teach)
  • Copy of Act 151, 34 & 114 Clearance Forms (if teaching children)
    *Please note: You must submit all of the information above in order to be considered for a teaching position. If you do not have your clearances, please include this information at the time of application. You will need to provide these before being permitted to teach.

Modeling
If you are interested in modeling for art classes at Sweetwater, please fill out our Model Application Form, and return it to Sweetwater Center of the Arts.
