Creative Summer Experience Children's Camp
Sewickley, PA- Sweetwater Center for the Arts is teaming up once again with the Sewickley Community Center for Creative Summer Experience camp for children ages 6-12! This camp is a creative, fun and enriching experience using the resources of both organizations. It will be held at Sweetwater Center for the Arts with the option to attend for either 1 week or 2 weeks: August 8-12, and August 15-19, 2011, from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. This year's Creative Summer Experience will build on the theme "Go Global!" as we encourage your child, through the visual and performing arts, educational play activities and group projects, to engage in the vitality and history of other world cultures.
Each day is a new adventure as we experiment with a wide array of art media and techniques, athletics and other fun activities. Children will swim daily (weather permitting) in the Community Center pool. Certified lifeguards will be on duty.
New campers as well as returning campers are welcome!
