WINTER 2010

FIGURATIVE SCULPTURE
CS03
Ages 16 & up

To the sculpture student of the 19th century, the modeling studio was the first step on the journey to the high title of statue maker. In this class, students will be instructed in a similar manner: modeling moist clay to create small figurative sculptures. Working with a posed, live nude model, each student will create two 3- hour sculpture studies and one 18-hour figure. All sculptures will be fired. Beginners as well as more advanced students are welcome. The material and model fees are included in the tuition.
