Volunteer at Sweetwater

Sweetwater is always in need of volunteers to help with events and classes. As a "thank you" for your effort, all volunteers earn $4/hour toward classes at Sweetwater.

Summer Camp Volunteers

Sweetwater Center for the Arts seeks enthusiastic, responsible and focused young people to assist with our summer art camps. There are different camps and different teachers each day. We are happy to work with your schedule but ask that you commit to a full shift in either the morning or afternoon. Summer camps run weekly from June 16 to August 15.

Duties:
Duties include assisting instructors with children's summer camps, involving: painting & drawing, nature, dance, acting, cooking and more.

Qualifications:
* Must be 15 or older
* Must enjoy working with children
* Must be available to work an entire shift: either 9am - 1pm or 1pm - 4pm
* Must love art!

Exhibits Installation Volunteer Opportunity

Sweetwater is seeking volunteers to help with exhibition set up and display. This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in the arts and wants to gain experience in a gallery setting. The position requires some heavy lifting and climbing and can be done during the day or evening hours. Help is needed with set up and tear down of exhibitions, and will consist of approximately four days per month, beginning in March. Fill out an application form and mail a hard copy or email to Kelly Koble.
